Plotting atmosphere cross-sections?

Post by joanna » 17 Dec 2014 14:53

Hello,

It would be great if zyGrib allowed to plot atmosphere crosssections, especially the clouds and winds field, like those available at Meteblue website (examples attached below). Very useful for flight planning. Also great for studying front passages, I think.

I can imagine this implemented in a way that the user draws a line between two points and then gets a crosssection windows displayed, where he or she is able to move steps forth and back in time.

Thanks,
joanna.
