Il ne faut surtout pas oublier les mots magiques: bonjour, salut, merci, etc.
Les messages impolis sont rejetés et restent sans réponse.
Il faut souvent être patient, car il y a plein d'autres activités encore plus passionantes dans notre vie.

High resolution Grib files for Northeren Europe

Post by Chris » 13 Aug 2012 11:31

zyGrib is a great tool for viewing grib files and showing the NOAA weather data, unfortunately for the Dutch inland waters like the IJsselmeer the data offered by NOAA is to coarse to give an accurate predication. The Norwegian meteorological institute offers grib files for Northern Europe (including England, Sweden, Norway and a part of France) with a resolution of 10km and thus are more accurate than the GFS model. Would it be possible to incorporate this source into zyGrib such that these grib files can be downloaded directly?

The data can be found here: http://om.yr.no/verdata/grib/

Thanks
