zyGrib

Please provide detailed series of actions and terminal commands to install.
Whatever I have tried over the last 2 hours has resulted in Zygrib R3 being installed or ubuntu rejecting incomplete commands.

Nous ne donnons pas de cours linux sur ce forum, mais exceptionnellement :
la ligne est à ajouter dans le fichier /etc/sources.list, ce n'est pas une ligne de commande et il n'y a pas de crochet autour du nom de la distribution, c'est une symbolique pour indiquer le remplacement de ce paramètre par une valeur

You must do like in that thread, but you must replace 'precise' word with 'quantal' word (without quotes, of course)

OK, here we go: installation instructions for the stupid (like me):

1. Open the "Software Sources" application. Under "other software", click "add" and paste the following:
deb http://doc.hausser.ch/debpackages ubuntu-dha quantal

2. Open a terminal session: Ctl + Alt + T, paste the following:
wget http://doc.hausser.ch/debpackages/dha-debpackages.key -O - | sudo apt-key add -
make sure you enter your password when requested, and that the terminal completes the operation. (for me, I have to type "enter" when the terminal stops after "written to stdout...", then enter my password)

3. Install zyGrib with Synaptic Package Manager: it will install an old version

4. Run the "Software Updater" application

5. Type "zyGrib" (case sensitive) on the Terminal

7. Select language, zyGrib will start

8. Each time you want to start the program, you need to type zyGrib in a Terminal.
