Data of POI´s in text file

Post by Thomas » 21 May 2009 17:42

Hi,

thanks a lot for this great program. I like it. :D

I have one suggestion:

I would like to integrate the GFS-forecast data from several positions on my homepage. zyGrib has the possibility to generate data for user specified POIs (the extra window with the table). And here it would be nice, if the program can write this data into a simple text file or a comma separate file (.csv)

My idea is, that all POIs be taken into the file. For example here the possible output format:

Code: Select all

namePOI,lon,lat,time,temperature,wind, .....
Paris,48.862222,2.350833,2009052100,12.5,20.4, .....
Paris,48.862222,2.350833,2009052103,13.1,15.8, .....
Paris,48.862222,2.350833,2009052106,14.1,5.8, .....
...
Paris,48.862222,2.350833,2009052121,13.1,15.8, .....
Lyon,45.759722,4.842222,2009052100,7.4,1.8, .....
Lyon,45.759722,4.842222,2009052103,9.0,5.7, .....
...
Lyon,45.759722,4.842222,2009052121,12.5,10.5, .....
Is it possible and feasible?

regards
Thomas
